The Vegvisir Odin design by NORTHRUNE UK® is inspired by Odin, the Allfather of Norse mythology—god of wisdom, knowledge, war, poetry, and the relentless pursuit of truth.

Unlike rulers who sought power through force alone, Odin sacrificed greatly in his search for wisdom. He gave one of his eyes at Mímir's Well to gain unmatched knowledge and hung for nine days upon the World Tree, Yggdrasil, to discover the secrets of the runes. His journey reminds us that true strength is earned through sacrifice, experience, and understanding.

Above Odin stands the Vegvisir, often known as the Viking Compass. According to Icelandic tradition, it was believed to guide its bearer safely through storms and uncertainty without losing the way. Alongside Odin's loyal ravens, Huginn (Thought) and Muninn (Memory), this design represents wisdom, guidance, purpose, and the courage to continue forward regardless of the challenges ahead.

The inscription "Óðinn er með okkur" ("Odin Is With Us") symbolizes guidance, resilience, and the enduring spirit of those who seek knowledge before victory.

• Heather colours: 35% ring-spun cotton / 65% polyester
• Sport Grey & Antique colours: 90% cotton / 10% polyester
• Graphite Heather: 50% ring-spun cotton / 50% polyester

Care Instructions

• Wash inside out at 30°C
• Wash with similar colours
• Do not bleach
• Do not iron directly on the print
• Tumble dry on low heat or air dry for best results
