The Vegvísir Hugr design by NORTHRUNE UK® is inspired by the enduring strength of the Viking spirit and the ancient belief that true guidance begins within. At the heart of the artwork stands a battle-worn Norse warrior whose unwavering gaze reflects courage, resilience, and the unbreakable will to continue forward regardless of the challenges ahead.

Above the warrior rests the Vegvísir, often known as the Viking Compass. According to Icelandic tradition, it was believed to guide its bearer safely through storms and uncertainty without losing the way. In this design, the Vegvísir represents not only direction across the physical world, but also clarity of mind, purpose, and the strength to remain true to your path.

The Old Norse word Hugr refers to the mind, spirit, heart, and inner consciousness—the source of determination, wisdom, and personal strength. Combined with the inscription "Vegvísir Leiðir Mig" ("The Compass Guides Me"), the artwork reminds us that the strongest journey is the one guided by courage from within.

• Made with 100% ring-spun cotton, the Gildan Softstyle® 64000 offers a lightweight 4.5 oz/yd² (153 g/m²) fabric that feels exceptionally soft all year round.
• Classic unisex fit with a versatile crew neckline.
• Pearlized tear-away label for maximum comfort.
• Produced using ethically grown and responsibly harvested US cotton.

Fabric Blends

• Heather colours: 35% ring-spun cotton / 65% polyester
• Sport Grey & Antique colours: 90% cotton / 10% polyester
• Graphite Heather: 50% ring-spun cotton / 50% polyester

Care Instructions

• Wash inside out at 30°C
• Wash with similar colours
• Do not bleach
• Do not iron directly on the print
• Tumble dry on low heat or air dry for best results
