The Vargsál design by NORTHRUNE UK® is inspired by the legendary bond between the Viking warrior and the spirit of the wolf. In Norse tradition, the wolf represented courage, instinct, endurance, and the untamed strength that lives within every true warrior. It was never simply an animal—it was a symbol of survival, loyalty, and fearless determination.

At the heart of the artwork stands the powerful fusion of a wolf and a Viking warrior. One half reveals the untamed predator of the wild, while the other reveals the disciplined warrior who has mastered both battle and himself. Together they represent the balance between instinct and wisdom, reminding us that true strength comes from embracing both our wild nature and our inner discipline.

Above the warrior rests the Vegvisir, often known as the Viking Compass. According to Icelandic tradition, it was believed to guide its bearer safely through storms and uncertainty without losing the way. Combined with the warrior and the wolf, it symbolises resilience, inner guidance, and the courage to continue forward regardless of the obstacles ahead.

The inscription "Úlfrinn Er Í Mér", accompanied by the words "The Wolf Is Within Me," represents the belief that every warrior carries an untamed spirit inside—a force driven by loyalty, determination, and the will to overcome every challenge.

Care Instructions

• Wash inside out at 30°C
• Wash with similar colours
• Do not bleach
• Do not iron directly on the print
• Tumble dry on low heat or air dry for best results
